Small, family law firm that is committed to providing excellent customer service to their clients is seeking a new team member to contribute to their office dynamic. They are located in North Kildonan in a new office building with free parking. The lawyers practice primarily in the areas of Wills & Estates, Real Estate and Corporate Law.
The Assistant's responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Assisting with the preparation/revision of legal documents
- Drafting and proofreading routine correspondence
- Prepare billings
- Filing
- Opening and closing files
- Answering phone calls
- Other duties as required
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of office experience
- Professional experience with Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Excellent organizational, grammatical, spelling and keyboard skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
- A commitment to meeting deadlines
- Professional attitude towards clients and other professionals
- The ability to work with a high degree of confidentiality and discretion
- Available to work normal business hours Monday through Friday
